PRP Hair Restoration is a non-surgical solution that is useful for the treatment of hair loss in both men and women. Scalp Treatment Overview

 A small sample of blood is drawn from the patient and processed using a centrifuge to extract the PRP. A topical anesthetic is applied to numb the scalp. The PRP is then administered with a very fine needle. Micro-needling is combined with PRP injections to improve the outcome of the treatment. Micro-needling helps to improve the circulation to the scalp, helps to activate the platelets and improves topical absorption of PRP.

Mild swelling and redness can be expected 1-4 days following the treatment. It is recommended to avoid vigorous activity until the swelling has subsided.
